Wheel arch moldings?

Hello,


I recently nicked the plastic trim on the right rear wheel arch of my 900i and cracked it.

My local dealer says this trim is no longer available after giving them the car's VIN number. Searching various SAAB sites I found the following information on thesaabsite.com.

Apparently, there are 2 kinds of wheel arch trim. One for non-SPG cars, with part number 6947857. These part is the same for all 4 wheel arches, and I believe this is the correct part for my car, which is the non-SPG 92 900i you see here:



Searching suppliers in Europe I found the following item, which appears to be the correct part, can someone please confirm this?

The other kind of wheel arch moldings are for SPG cars as follows:

Left Front: 6918510
Right Front: 6918528
Left Rear: 6918536
Right Rear: 6918544

I don't believe these are what came on my non-SPG car, but would appreciate someone confirming this. Thanks.

There are 2 kinds of strip, wide ones as the ones you have and narrow ones which are on cars from MY91 and back. The narrow ones can be found new/imitation, but the wide ones are very rare in mint (as in not cracked) condition let alone new. (atleast they are in europe)

SPG/Aero ones are made from harder plastic and don't look good if you don't have the rest of the skirtset. Also these are very hard to find.

this wont fit his car and saabsite NL carries any modlings for these cars. the production on them are over. Furthermore, if you look he has wide moldings that wrap the entir arch and those never made it to the US for non spg cars.
