A/C Heater Settings

Everytime i turn the car on the A/C or heater is on full blast and i have to turn it off. How do I stop this? Also the drivers side window rolls up then rolls down half way. The only way i can stop this is by holding the window lock button down while I roll it up. Is there a fix for this also?

Sounds like you have wiring issues?

Has the car ever been flood damaged?

The window thing could be the pinch protection, you could try pulling the plug from the inside of the door, pull the fuse for the windows or unplug your battery for a bit to reset the windows.
