The cel on my 92 9000T blinks 3 times. I read that for a trionic car 3 flashes means intake air sensor, however being a 92 it is motoronic. What is the diagnosis? I would love to hear from you.

Here are the LH/APC flash codes that I've seen posted before (non-trionic):
For 3 flashes, I would investigate plugs/DI first before assuming a faulty computer! Do you have the correct NGK resistive plugs fitted? Check the connectors to the DI as well. You could also try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes! You may be able to get more info here http://216.78.172.244/engine_folder/24codes.htm but the site is down right now. Try the wayback machine http://web.archive.org/web/200302121...er/24codes.htm. However, this doesn't agree at all with the list above, and no-one ever seems quite sure which is correct, and why some non-trionic cars seem to output flash codes. |

It flashes with the ignition on and the engine off
It came on the day before I replaced my di(probably for good reason) The old one was cracked in 2 places and leaking fluid, so I am thinking that the cel just needs to be reset. If not I have a set of new plugs that I can put in. I will try disconnecting the battery when I get home... Thanks -Christophe |

the info johncc posted is the same as i have and mine came from a saab technician out off a saab fault diagnosis manual so i would assume it to be correct and as that corresponds with your ignition discharge module breaking down then i would say that that is what caused the code.
