96 900 Turbo ECU T5-suite reflash from auto to manual?

hi all!!

so i could pick up an ECU out of a 96 900T auto for hella cheap. i want to play with it with T5-Suite.
would it work with a 96 900T manual after a re-flash? are both ECUs physically the same?

As long as both cars use the same OBD system, the ECU's are identical.

The first of the NG900's used OBD I, but the later used OBD II. Since both car's are the same year, I can't imagine a difference in the OBD systems in the two cars.

Other than that, it's just the way the ECU is programmed.
