Default 04 9-5 Arc 2.3T PVC Update Confusion

I have an small oil leak that seems to be coming from the oil trap or connection on the oil trap. (I had my car serviced yesterday and they suggest I get the pvc update).

Some sites have an update kit listed for my year and model: kit # 55561200. The parts man at the Saab dealer didn't even list such a kit or any reference to it.

Eeuroparts doesn't list that kit for my year and model, but they do have separate components for my car. (#55558696 oil trap, 55560445 crankcase vent hose, 55557709 oil trap hose, 5955919 oil trap hose, 5955927 oil trap hose, 5961610 oil trap hose). Is it possible that these are the factory parts and not the updated pvc design? I don't want to have to redo this again in 6 years.

Other sites list the 5556120 as the kit but don't include all things necessary, check valve, hoses, etc. Some post say the 04 already has the updated pvc kits, some say they don't. What kit will work, or do I need to buy parts.

My engine #is A043003782, a B235L engine. ANY HELP

That is the correct part ... but your car already has an updated PCV set up from the factory and it is in fact very different from the retro fit kit.

2004 and onwards do not need to do this.

Default Never the less, it leaks oil.

The service tech. diagnosed that the oil collector box is leaking around the seals where the hoses enter the box. I also do not have a check valve on the top hose that goes around the left side (facing the car). I understand the update has a check valve.

as said int the prior post, your car does not need an update kit, the entire PCV system was changed your year. Just get the replacement part.

So, is it the box or the hoses that I change? I saw one post that mentioned that early 04 had the updated PVC but half way through 04 they changed it again. Can aNyone confirm this?
