Looks like my saab wont be ready by next weekend. If it is im bringing it, if not ill still come up and meet everyone.

Saying 60% chance of rain on the 24th didn't plan for a rain date, what is everyones position on this if the weather changes for the worst?
obviously if it's a bad storm all day, we'll postpone it to another date. will stick with another saturday most likely.

If it's raining, I'm not sure that I'll make the trip. I'd be down for a rain date, though. But yeah, we exchanged a few PM's and I think we are going to work something out through the week to meet up... although the rain may change things.

well its good to see that we got some die hards! yes, its still a week away, but if we need to plan for a rain date, now is the time.

they do have multiple parking garages all around the mall, but if we were to the meet under them with 20+ cars, we'd run the risk of being kicked out by Paul Blart (mall cops). but fingers crossed for some sunshine!

Just need to buy something if we have to park in the garage so were not "loitering". I'm up for any dates except next weekend. The 31st is my bday and I'm going to be wasted.

Would be much better if there were a bunch of saabs to park with!

true, i just know from the guys i got the location from, they often head into the garages during bad weather and sometimes run into trouble. the other problem would be getting the 20+ cars (if everyone shows) together in a line/one spot.

either way, looking forward to a warm and sunny day!

im not too worried about the weather, just wanted to give those traveling the heads up incase we have some crazy storm pop up.

that's a bonus to the location. even if we get a good hour of chatting and taking some pics, people can head into the mall for lunch or shopping.

I guess I'll clean the sand out of my you know where, and man up and come down regardless of weather. It's not looking too terrible, though, on the forecasts, so I don't think it will be a huge problem.

the chatter has picked up over on SwedeSpeed, so it looks like a good number of volvo's will be coming out also. i got a few PM on here of people having to bail, but the numbers are still up around 20+ cars total.

Hey guys,

I'm going to break out my portable photo studio and be available to do some high-quality photos while we're all there. I'm not going to take pix into photoshop and completely rework them but I'm sure you'll be more than happy with the pix I do take.

Keep in mind, it's better to take photos of vehicles on over-cast days, NOT while the full noon sun is out. And the color of your vehicle against the backdrop has a lot to do with how much it "pops". The files I generate will be big... roughly 40-50megs per file so, if you want to walk away with it, bring some kind of USB drive. As an example, I took some shots of my CONV last night in the driveway. About 15 minutes later and the attached photo is how she looks!

Anyway, I'm sure it'll be fun so, bring your vehicles clean and shiny! The shinier the better! Especially, with those darker colors!

Well hopefully it wont rain on the way down. So that when I clean it this friday, it stays clean.
