hi guys

have recently bought myself a 9-5 2.2 turbo diesel estate on the way home from work the car suddenly devolped a fault and would not rev over 3000 revs

a friend of mine has a cheap scanner and has pulled 3 fault codes from it

p0113 intake air temperature sensor
p2227 barometric pressure circuit range
p0106 manifold absolute pressure

wondered how many other people have had the same problem and what they did to cure the fault ?

i intend keeping the car for a while and would like to have my own software for diagnosis and the likes , is there any software and lead available for this kind of thing ???

If you have spare coin, get a tech II scanner. It will give you mucho control. If you have "just" a spare $100 or so, get an OBD II scanner like your buddy has, and use "obd-codes" dot com to trouble-shoot your codes.

im not looking to spend a fortune on a tech 2 scanner
im very familiar with the vag com system on audi,s and vw,s and wondered if there was something similar for the saab?
is it possible to use the same software and lead as the vauxhall cars ???
