I would love to bring both the 9-5 and 9-3, but that would mean that we would have to drive separate, so only bringing back the 9-5... but since last year's Carlisle, I have new shoes on it, upgraded injectors, and it will be freshly painted from getting the dings fixed (along with painting the rear bumper piece).

More Saab's @ Carlisle updates are going to be released here ASAP via Central Penn Saab Club whom I'm a member.

Keep posted! Glad I'll be able to attend again this year - it was a close call.

Does the camping take place on the actual show grounds or is there a separate section for that?

The camping takes place on the grounds - usually up on the hilly section. When people arrive they claim a spot and then stage the cars down in the labeled sections. It's a great time.

We'll probably meet again on Friday up in Fredricksburg, MD to convoy together. Last year we had 6 or 7 in the convoy - good stuff.

Makes sense. Is sleeping in a car staged in the labeled sections frowned upon? Them wagons can be quite spacious...

you're better off pulling your car into the camp grounds, as some people wake up very very early and start setting up the show field... if you're not parked where they want you then you'll have a rude wake up from someone knocking on your window

+1

Where you park on Friday afternoon has absolutely no bearing on where you end up on Saturday morning. They end up having you park by model type (SAT) and color (SUN).

Also - keep in mind you should pre-register in order to reserve a camping spot ($15).

Thanks, that's good to know!

On a side note, my TD04-18t #6 is ready for pick-up; now to just have it installed in time...
