Did these on mine this morning. 04 Arc. Mine were in much better condition than yours and just made a creak when its cold over larger dips in the road. The bolts that go in the front of those brackets (the front of the engine) you can get with a ratchet and a deep 13mm. The rears you just need to loosen a few turns then push on the sway bar and they slide out. Its a bit finicky but easily do able.

Hey guys! Quick question. I have a 2006 Saab 93 2.0T. Which size would I need? I plan on replacing these along with my Sway Links at the same time! Thanks ahead of time! And how easy are these to do?

I believe they use a 24mm bar.

So does the subframe need to come down or not? Mine is FWD. My suspension is silent except over speedbumps and similar situations when below freezing. Greasable is nice...
A little worried this will not fix it, I had them done a few years back and was suprised to hear the crunch (no pop or anything like that, just a crunchy noise) this weekend out in the cold... |

Mine was replaced (Forgot to ask if the subframe had to come out or not) and it didn't make much diff. I still get crunching noises in compression and rebound.

One of my sway bars was loose and caused a bit of noise... but the best thing to get rid of the noise, and especially the crash, was no struts/springs

Im replacing my endlinks just for giggles to see if that makes a diff. will let you know. I get that crunching sound. seems to go away when its not cold though.

Hmmm... eeuoroparts list both 24.2 and 25.2 as the correct bushing for a 2004 Aero SS. Anyone know which is correct?

OK, I have the poly grease fitting bushings on their way.
But no one seems to talk about the rear bushings (19MM?) and whether they should be replaced. I know I don't hear any noise that I think comes from the rear. And since we are in a suspension thread, do most people replace the strut bearings when replacing struts (107K miles on my 2004 Aero)?

I guess I'm still a bit confused how to solve the loud creaking over speedbumps from the front suspension. I thought it was going to he be control arm bushings, but I just had those replaced with the GS uprated ones, and the noise is still there. The mechanic said my springs and strut mounts were in good shaped when my new struts went in... Sway bar bushings next? What else do I need to look for?

I have replaced the sway bar bushings first and my noise is still there (sounds like your noise as well).
The tech at my local dealership told me he things my Stock Shocks are going.
