Trannys fine. Chillcast housing with ´92 internals strenhtened. Busted the primary chains with 8th primary twice though so I sold the 8th and with 7th its fine. Torque is restricted to 400 nm so it´ll be OK i think, hp dont kill trannys only early quick building torque at low rpm. Look at the 100-200 4th gear acc. boost rises fron 1.bar at low rpm to 1.3 at the rev limit.

Long story.
trionic 5.5 T5 suite mapped, siemens injectors 630cc 3 bar FPR big open air intake 2.5" pressure pipes, large FMIC aluminium 2.1 intake 2,1/2,3 head with 9-5 hydraulic lifters stock b202 with T8 pistons. tubular header 3" downpipe+ 2.5" simons with 2 silencers (no noise) GT3076 with 0.64 exhaust housing externally gated turbosmart 44 mm stock cams adjustable with 1.2 mm valve over... whats it called? sachs pressure plate 400 nm chillcast gearbox with 5 speed internals strengthened JE shortshift koni shocks lesjöfors springs 1 gear baseboost. second gear max 0.9 bar (hate wheelspin) 3-5 geaar full pressure, thats about it. Holy crap impressive!
I would've loved to see the reaction on the face of the guy driving the M5. Wish I had my 5-speed internals strengthened in the chillcast, but I don't necessarily need (or could produce) accel like that! I'm surprised you could keep wheel-spin to a minimum against an RWD. Did you have like super strong springs in the back? Mine are 650 lb/in, but I doubt it could keep the front on the ground when it counted. li Arc |

No super strong springs in the back. remember it was 110-220 we raced. The M5 would probably win from 0-200 because of my FWD and manual gearbox, but wheelspin is no problem. Thats the beauty of T5.5, it allows you to restrict boost in 1st and 2nd gear, and because I let boost slowly increase in 3th it doesn´t spin. check out 4th gear: could be faster with more low end boost, but tranny would suffer and 3th gear spin (tried that) Last edited by SG; 14-10-11 at 05:09 PM. |

hardware changes are mentioned above. You need complete trionic 5.5 from a donor car. A bit tricky to build on to the car, had help from a skilled guy. then you download T5 suite and with a laptop and canbus you can map the car while driving. I can e-mail my binfile to anyone interestet. just sent pm.
