Ventilation fan works only with full speed

Hi, does anyone knows, where the resistor for ventilation fan is located ?
My car´s (89 9Kt) ventilation fan only works with full power(switch positioned in 4)
Rest 3 positions for fan are dead.

My memories going now i`m nearly 25 but i seem to recall they were under the false bulkhead, undo the 8mm headed bolts or screws and it should be on the fan motor. Not a big job to do. 5 Mins max.
