Bolt Mod? Questions
Ive been reading up on the bolt mod and wondering what it does what the gains are , or cons and what exactly do you plug ive heard 2-3 different things theres this one http://www.econmancer.com/?p=65, and what happens if you plug the hose then plug it back in ? i recently plugged it and took it out for a spin to see a difference and you can tell a bit but when i got back home took the bolt out and hooked it back up

All it does is bypass the check valves that are on that line. Technically the correct fix is to just replace the check valves with new ones because if there is a difference when the line is disconnected it means that one or both of the check valves are faulty. It really doesn't matter if you leave the line plugged or connected it is safe either way.
