i was wondering, would it be worth it for me to get a new aftermarket performance exhaust for my car? One of those huge like 3" free flowing ones?

Depends what other mods you're running and what engine you have.

I wouldn't put a 3inch on a N/A...go 2.25 do a custom exhaust so you go the look and sound you want..I did on my N/A 900...but am doin 3" on the spg

That's right, You'd actually lose performance in a N/A c900 if you fitted a 3" system - there wouldn't be enough back pressure to allow normal levels of torque at low revs.
There are performance exhausts specially designed for the normally aspirated Saabs as well - one of these systems should get you 3-5 hp more power throughout the rev range, and a nice exhaust note! |

At least Swedish Dynamics sell those in the US; you can find the website at http://www.saabperformanceparts.com
