Default 02 9-3 Turns Over Slow But Starts - New Battery

Maybe this is normal but I'm not sure. I just bought my first Saab, a 2002 9-3 Sedan with 83K miles. The car had a brand new battery in it when I got it. The problem is the car turns over slow, it almost sounds like the battery is dying. The car doesn't have any problem starting however, in fact it always starts after it turns over a couple of times. People are always telling me I need a new battery from the way it sounds when I turn it over. Is this just a Saab thing or maybe the starter going bad? Thanks for any help and advice

Well it does sound like the Battery, maybe the new one is defective or too small for a saab. other than that it could be starter.

Look for a loose/poor connection on one of the battery and ground cables.

There's one battery cable that goes straight from the battery to the starter and then the alternator along with a pair of ground cables. Between them, there are a fair number of places you can get an iffy connection.
