Hey Saabers

I'm look for some new wheels for the 9-3, 17's for under $500, I came across these that I kinda fancy and was wondering if they would work with the proper hub centric rings. Specs below.

Thanks for lookin

Style: Shockwave 539
Finish: Silver w/ Machined Lip
Size: 17X7
Bolt Pattern: 5X110
Offset: +42
Hub Bore: 74.1 mm

I believe the hub size of the 9-3 is 65.1mm so they will fit on there, but you may get a vibration since you are only relying on the lug bolts to hold the wheel in the correct location.

Just FWIW... in my experience, cheap wheels are always a bad deal. They're soft, they get out of round adn out of true on the first few bumps, and you regret them until the day you toss them on the metal pile. You'd be better off finding a set of higher quality wheels used and refinishing them if needed.

If the hub size different you can get ring spacers made up at a fitter machinist shop.
I got wheels and the hub centers were to big.I got some made up no problems

Just get 74.1mm ----> 65.1 hubcentric rings. Most sellers will include them for free if you ask them.

Most of the time wheels are ok just being centered by the lug nuts (lug centric) but it is way better to run with hub rings. My Rx7 is running lug centric with no problems at all and it has been to the track more than once.

Hub centric rings are normally free with most wheel purchases. If not you can find them on EBAY for around 20bux. I ran my 9-3 centered on lugnuts for over a year because of my 5mm spacers and had no vibrations at all. However, when I got my new wheels I got the proper rings.
