Default big boy turbo questions

Ok im in the process of ordering my parts to build my 235R for the viggen.. i want to change turbos from the 19t to sometihng bigger.. what have yall used i know holset i dont have the $$ for the manifold.. what about gt3071 or 76.. what sizes did you use thanks.

A 3071 is easier to fit than the 3076 due to it having a smaller compressor housing.

We fitted a 3076 with a 4" intake on comp housing and had to remove the air con compressor.

I got the gt3076wg .86ar turbo to fit on the stock manifold with the spacer from Nick, just like the gt3071wg, you can order the gt3076wg with the same compressor housing as the gt3071wg, the 50ar with 2.75" inlet. That is what I did, here is a picture. Made some good power, but was laggy, spooled up almost 1000 rpm later than the gt3071, but did make 125whp more with enem cams.

hey thnx john i think ill go with that idk about spool later its a DD so it will be better IMO.. and thanks for the suggestion on FB last night.
