96 900 saab

I have a 96 saab, just bought it this week, trans will not shift when hot (thinking it is a filter) and blowing some white smoke from exhaust when warm (head gasket maybe). Would cost me more than it is worth to fix it between the two. This car is nice, would hate to think of taking it to the steel mill, but need to make the money I put in it out, or as much as possible. What color interior?
