Does anyone know of any key lock for the Hoods on 900 convertibles ? During the summer I like keeping the top down. The alarm is after the fact and easily defeated. I'm looking for any product or ideas on how to accomplish this. The issue is whether a lock exists. If not then, who knows maybe a group design?

Do you mean you want the car to be secure when you leave it parked with the hood down?
And don't most people use ultra-sound? as well as the ordinary door locks? |

I just purchased my first convertible, and am a bit concerned about leaving the hood down, but I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather just let a theif take whatever they can get their hands on rather than risk having them damage the hood with a knife etc.
Having said that, motion sensitive internal alarms are the go. |

We usually think of bonnets as being on babies. So it's foreign to say "Key locking bonnet", invokes thoughts of straight jackets.
So the answere is "No we don't know how to lock the bonnet, with the top down on a cabriolet" . Humorous, eh? That's Canadian. |
