They come from the factory with 22 inch blades on both sides.

With that being said, I got the Anco 22 inch narrow inserts. However, they are barely big enough to fit. When I lift up the wiper blade the open tip side has a tendency to pop out because it's just a tiny bit too short. If you are getting inserts, get the 24 inch narrows and trim the edge if necessary.

I have Bosch ICON 24" blades on my '09 and they fit great actually. Not sure if the '03-07s are different, but I'm assuming the windshield is the same size.

They are 23", both driver and passenger.

That's why the 22" inserts are too small

Pretty sure that any 22, 23, or 24 inch blade will fit the windshield fine, but make sure they are the same size on both driver and passenger sides.

Yes they will, but the correct size is 23".

The comment about the 22" inserts being too small referred to loochy's post about them coming out of the standard wiper armature. This is because they are too short at 22" for the 23" armature.

Finding 23" inserts is another matter! Certainly in the UK not many other cars use 23" blades

The correct sizes for 2003-2007 wiper blades are 22" passenger-side, 24" driver-side. This discussion comes up all the time. I'm pretty sure you can't find 23" with the right attachment. I'm in favor of 22/24, because then they properly overlap. However, most will tell you 22/22 works, and I have tried that and it does work - but the overlap is barely enough and you get a trickle or drop right at the top of the windshield on the drivers side.

Now if you're just replacing the rubber with a refill, it's cheaper but 10x the hassle. You can just get it cut to replace your existing length. I say it's not worth it, as flexors wear out as well, and entire blade replacement is super easy, and not that expensive when you consider everything else that you spend on a car. Also you're likely removing the blades to change out the rubber anyway.

I buy Valeo 900 series, 900-24-1B and 900-22-1B. I buy two sets at a time, because you can get the 22s 2 for 1 at TireRack (why most people just use 22s), and I get the 24s from Amazon.

From what I've read, 2008-2010 use 23s, but it's a different attachment that can easily found in 23".

I'm sorry, but they are BOTH 23". I've had 3 sets of OEM blades purchased from online Saab retailers that have come in Saab branded boxes with GM part numbers (whether they were Bosch, Valeo or just GM branded) and all have been 23"/580mm. The same as the original set that were fitted from new. The only different between driver/passenger is the spoiler.

2008 onwards changed over to flat blades, so the arm/attachment is completely different.

Although they did slightly modify the wiper arm on 2005 on cars, I am certain the 2003 to 2005 models are 23"/580mm. As you say, the 2008 on flat blades are also 23".

24/22, 22/22 will fit, but they are officially 23" unless RHD cars are different from the LHD ones (and I've seen no reason to believe this is so).

I was comparing notes with my Son-in-law today. He uses only Rain-X wipers, and he loves them. But they only last him a year at most. So, I told him about ... PIAA wipers.

I use only PIAA. Theirs are the best wipers - period - hands down. The first pair I installed on my 3000GT back in 2002 were still on the car when I sold it last month 175,000 miles later. They last for YEARS.

They are made of 100% pure silicone.

ALL my cars have PIAAs now. And I have yet to have worn out a single wiper blade - of course I've only been using them since 2002. In the meantime, I always end up selling the cars before they wear out. So perhaps by 2019 I may actually have to replace a pair.

I totally second that.

My car is a MY03 model.
I had my wiper blades changed at the local Saab dealer.
They fitted 2 blades 23'' (585mm) each.
The blades were in Saab branded boxes.
I measured them and the Driver Side is 23" (585mm) and Passenger Side 23" (585mm)
So they are BOTH 23".

However, there is enough room for a max 24'' blade on the driver's side.

FWIW, the blades that came on my MY08 were 23". These are not available in the aftermarket anywhere I've found. I've tried 24/22 or a pair of 22s and either works fine. I also find that Bosch Icons work well but I was not satisfied with RainX Latitude. I believe that Saab changed the attachment starting in MY08. The earlier cars used a hook and the later ones a newer snap-in.
