How about just a few thing they SHOULD be able to add to the existing stuff..

For example...
The "infotainment" display updates.. it should change the highlighted selection to what the current "source" is. If you change the source (with the wheel controls) while looking at the "main" display, is SHOULD change as you cycle through the sources. (The same thing should happen when you have the CD track names displayed and the tCD rack changes.

MP3 discs in the disc changer.

AUX (of course) it would be nice if we could get the "offical" cable.

A matching leather cover flap over the black plastic rear seat "pass through". (BMW 5 series has this) It really makes the seat look "finished" with the rear armreast down.

A light on the button for the "parking assit mirror". Also maybe have the mirror automatically adjust to the parking assit tilt setting when the car is put in reverse.

Navi in the USA...

Perhaps this was a freudian slip, as the reason we cant have one of the things we most want, aftermarket audio, is because we have a MOST network. :-)

LED rear lights.

Superficial, I know....but I think they look great. HIDs and LED rear lights really make a car stand out at night.

Default Tech II type updates via my home computer

I would like to be able to download software updates from SAAB and install them myself via firewire or USB. All the TECH II changes could also be done this way. (I wish!) :P

To fold the mirrors in when you lock the car, hold down the "lock" button on the remote for a couple of seconds.

* A good audio system for three 70W/150W/300W options...
* To be able to read both CD-R and MP3. Is it so expensive?

There's things like NAV and handsfree GSM cell phone, but if I had one wish - allow me access to the software so I can program my own text messages to the 2 display screens and allow me to tweak the system settings that today require a $4k TechII.

After reading about all the Mods on the car I may just get the welder out and weld those back doors shut , at least I'm not the only one wishing for a 2 door but so far its just 2 of us, a door each. I always viewed a 2 door coupe as a "Yes its a sports car, I'm single and there's no kids in this car" view. Note: Nothing aginst being married or having been married or kids.

My suggestions:

1. Under Customize/System - the ability to adjust turn signal volume.

2. Standard cargo net - or at least have knock out holes there for us guys too nervous to drill holes in our new cars.

3. A nice dark green which I believe the '03 had.

Good call, the ability to do TechII features through the customize menu would be great.

In my '95 Prelude, if I forgot to close the windows after turning off the ignition, I could do so (plus the sunroof) for an additional ten minutes. Now if I forget to close the windows in the SAAB, I have to put the key back in the ignition. Is there a remedy for this?
