Default 2005 Saab 93 liner mirror.

Does anyone know where i can find a mirror for my 2005 saab 93 liner? I just need the glass part for the drivers side. I have looked all over and have not been able to find one.

Do you know if this is just for the glass mirror only. Seems like $111 is quite expensive for a mirror that sticks to plastic. Is there any cheaper options out there. Thanks for the feed back though I didn't see that one. I might have to get it if that is all I can find.

Yes, it's just the glass, and you have to realize you driving a Saab, everthings going to be expensive. Just for an example the rear window by itself cost 1600 dollars.

Go and find a local glass repair shop, not just for automobiles, the type that do cars, plate glass, mirrors etc. Before you go, make a template of the mirror glass using a piece of cardboard. Cut it out smoothly and acurately and then go see the glass shop guy and ask him to cut you a mirror to fit the template. They do it all the time and some even specialize in saving you $$ by offering the service. Once you have the glass, you can glue it onto the existing glass or frame using silicone glue.
Note: Use a good silicone glue, make sure everything is clean and dry before putting it together, and put some masking tape on the new mirror glass to hold it in place while the silicone dries. Silicone usually cures in 24 hours. I've done this with several cars with good results.
I am a retired auto tech, body shop owner and insurance adjuster.
BTW I've been charged between $5 and $10 max. and a tube of silicone glue is around $5.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I woke up this morning to find glass all over and this sight

There's no way in hell I'm paying $111 for an OEM one lol so I'm gonna go ahead and jump on this ebay. It says it comes with "permanent adhesive". let's hope it's a little more permanent than whatever Saab uses
