Default 04 racing seat brackets

I have the 04 sportwagon, and want sportier seats (sparco, corbeau, etc...). Where can I find brackets for the seats so they fit right? I have looked all over and have not found anything, maby one of you has had some luck?

Sorry, I dont think they exist. You have a friend that can weld?

Take a look at the Aero seats if you havent already. They offer larger bolsters to keep you put but are still comfy. And they bolt right up.

so without cutting and welding, racing seats aren't going to happen? I have been browsing my local craigslist for any aero parts (i want to convert from a linear to aero) and there is next to nothing here.

What ever you decide will need custom fabrication, but I cant see why you wouldnt be able to get the original runners fitted to the bucket seats - might be a bit fiddly - but hey, nothing thats easy is worth having!

Either use your own (no going back), or find some used 9-5 seats to rip apart

So I used a 40x40x2,0mm stainless steel square tube, which I screwed to the floor. Then I screwed the Evo seats to this tube, fitted a 2.8 ohm resistor in place of the airbags, attached the seatbelts to the stock Evo seat mounting points, and that was it. The seats retain all their adjustments, the seat belts work, the airbag light is off. All the work took about four hours.
Certainly sounds do-able, they just needed taller mounts on the floor..........

Go for it!

I will be attempting this, but, will the 9-3 seats fit the same tracks? I am looking at parts for using to figure this out, but am not seeing 9-5 seats, so maby 9-3 will work?
