Default Do our engines use oil pan gaskets?

As title states, I can't seem to find one. Is our oil pan sealed with a bead of silicone?

Where's the best place online to get saab parts?

Thanks.

No pan gasket. It is sealed with anaerobic sealant. I think Loctite 518 or equivalent. Don't want to use silicone.

eEuroparts.com is a good place to start. Welcome to the forum

Loctite/Permatex 518 Anaerobic sealant. There is no gasket at all. Needn't go to eeuroparts, the 518 will be available at your local auto parts store. A little pricey though.

Thanks for the input! I'll pick some of that stuff up.

I will be ordering some grommets and misc stuff from eeuroparts.
