Default TD04 16T Turbo w/ Wastegate Actuator

I have a spare TD04-16T turbo for sale. Comes with spare bolts for the center cartridge and the wastegate actuator. The intake side has actually been honed out to fit a 19T wheel but i beleive the exhaust side is a 5cm housing. It currently has a 16T wheel. The turbo needs a rebuld since one of the gaskets was leaking a small amount of oil and there is some shaft play. The wheel is not chipped or damaged. Also included is is the full rebuild kit. Not sure what its worth so ill consider offers. PM with interest.

Why don't you just ask for it for FREE if you're offering $40. The rebuild kit alone is worth $100. I don't have any vested interest in this turbo, but at least give him a decent offer.

Good Luck with the sale, just to clairify for the buyers, this is not the 9K Aero turbo, it has a 5^2cm exhaust housing, I want to say it is from a Viggen or a 9-3 HOT.

Previous buyer put the bigger wheel on. He only went up to 16 because it had the 5cm exhaust housing. I swapped the housings so i could have a fresh turbo on my 9-3. Other than a minor rebuild with the kit provided, shes ready to rip!

Just to be sure.

I have an 9-5 Aero with the Td04-15t.

What benefits i would have with the 16t charger?

Is it worth the work?

I thought so to, but when i had the turbo out it was correct. Im pretty sure he did it because he already had everything out of the car including engine and probably didnt want to source a larger exhaust housing or already had a stage 4 tune done.

It will just pull a little harder. Im not sure of the hp number increase but the larger wheel will increase power. Ive never had a 15t so im not sure of how much. In my opinion it would be good to keep a spare around or rebuild it with the 6cm housing and a 19t wheel. Then youll see a nice increase in power. Im currently running that right now and i love it!
