Default Saab 1.9 tid Vector Sport

Hi Everone,

I currently own a 9-5 2.3 lpt and am thinking of upgrading to a 9-3 1.9 tid Vector Sport, around 2005 my ?
I have up to 5k to spend.
I have also considered a 330d bmw.

My question is is the Saab 9-3 any good ?

Many Thanks for all your replies

Regards

Ian

hey great to hear you considering a 93. i have just bought a 2006 1.9TiD vector sport 2 weeks ago, and its a beautiful car, i have the 150bhp engine and it packs a good punch, plenty of power for over taking and very smooth to drive. Mine does around 44-47mpg as well. My only niggle is some minor rattles they can accumilate, but they seem to come and go as they please, i cant comment on reliability as i havent had it long lol. But you have to be happy with what you will be driving and its your money so take time to drive both and shop shop around, becuase you can defanetily get one for 5k hope this is helpful, if you have any other questions i'd be pleased to try and help happy car hunting and keep us updated.
