Default 02 9-3 Stalling issue.

My mothers 9-3 is having an issue where upon slowing down or breaking the car will stall and acording to her it has uneven idle while at a stop. Thats the only clues I have, what are some things to check to see what could be the problem? I wont have a chance till monday to look at the car but want to prepare.

Few things I think could be a problem
-vacume leak.
-failing fuel pump
-fuel filter in need of replacement.
-bad fuel (she is going to fill up her car tommorow with fuel from different station, 91 only.)

Any and all thoughts will be appreciated. thanks.

It is a 2002 9-3 SE automatic.

"Vacuum leaks" are part of the maintenance, as is the filter(change every 100K miles or so.).
The stalling could well be caused by the throttle body control, these are troublesome.
If the fuel pump were failing, logically the volume delivered at WOT would be insufficient.

I replaced spark plugs and air filter about 3-4 month ago and that was probably less then 2000 miles. But I will check the condition of the air filter once I get there as well as look for any vacume leaks (that wont be fun ).

Im pretty sure there is no IAC as it is a T7 and as far as I read idle is done with throttle body. Time to clean it out I guess as well as MAF. Any good websites that show how to clean those out? Thanks
