Default Contender for Motor Trend 2011 Car of the year-2011 Saab 9-5

It has a chance. They seemed to like it, other than a stubborn transmission that wouldn't downshift from 3-2 in a turn.

Cool.

Even being mentioned as a contender will net SAAB some good street cred and hopefully more showroom traffic to check out the 2011MY lineup.

Thats strange, I thought the car had to be new or significantly updated for that particular model year to be a contender. Maybe because the 2010 was released so late?
