Lightbulb NG900 2.3 NA turbo? motronic to t5

I understand that the 900S 2.3, the 9000 CSE, and the 9000 aero used the same engine.
i was planning on eventually modding my 96 900 NA to be similar to the 9000 (maybe even swapping in a larger turbo), my engine only has 130k so i would like to keep it.
however, i have no idea about the computer systems, as i have never owned a saab before. Is is impossible to switch the motronic with the t5?

also, should this be in the 900 or 9000 forums? please excuse me if i am incorrect.
thank you,
sebastian

meant to answer this first
the engine between your car and a 9k are similar but not the same...
you engine has internals (crank, rod, pistons) for high compression
while the 9k engine has internals for a lowere compression to accommodate for the forced inductions from the turbo
they share the B234 part of the engine code, but the letter that follows that (I, R, or L) identifies the rest of the engine's build
the engine code for your car is B234I (N/A)
while a 9000cse will have B234L (low output/pressure turbo)
and a 9000aero will have B234R (high output/pressure turbo)

ya t5 will deff help with getting the car to run nicely... as for parts, you'll read up somewhere that all the turbo parts off a 94-99 900/9-3 2.0 turbo will directly bolt on

you are very limited with the motronic engine management

if you want any sort of power increase from your engine, i'd recommend going to t5 regardless if you want to boost the engine
