Pipe fabrication?

The summers gradually getting hotter and I am now getting ready now to install my 9000 intercooler. I want the plumbing to look good though, rather than hacked about 900 & 9k pipes.

Does anyone can make up some stainless OR aluminium pipes so that I can plumb in the intercooler nicely?

A good example.

Basically what I want is someone who can make pipes according to my spec. The place where I could have gottten them made no longer exists. :sad:

Are there any benefits from using aluminium rather than stainless, other than weight?

Aluminum has no other benefits...

Also since those places like to charge an arm and a leg for tubing you could probably contact a company which deals with metals.

A friend of mine's dad works with metals and so I can get as much aluminum piping as I want for free... :smile:

The people who fitted my exhaust (see previous posts) said they could make up IC pipes for us, although they would only have steel in stock!!

Which ever one works out cheaper will probably be what I go for. Although stainless is very atrractive due to it's durability. Also having stainless means that I can have things welded on very easily rather than at specialists. But I'll wait and see wat estimates come back.
