Spotted!! Black 9-3 aero in hingham

Yup. The title says it all. Spotted a black 9-3 possibly an aero V6? Sounded nice in the downtown hingham area. Came up on me pretty quick and we both exchanged thumbs up. This was around 1:40PM.

I always have such high hopes when I start these threads bc it's always nice to see a well-kept/well put together saab....but am so disappointed

I pulled up at a light on one yesterday....but the driver was going grandma slow on the off ramp and took no interest when I pulled up next to him, but oh well.

What day don't you spot a 9-3 Aero in any given town in Massachusetts? Saabs are ubiquitous around here.

Haha. Well usually in my town people don't care.. Very unusual to get any recognition, let a lone a thumbs up. Saabs are pretty common in this area though that's for sure . I think there are two or three Tubo X drivers here. One wagon, the other two sedans. One of which I see basically every day parked in the commuter boat lot.

I generally only post on here about obviously modded or extremely well cared for saabs. otherwise, I'd be starting about twenty threads a day

Saw the same Saab again yesterday on RT228... Booking it downtown though.. Definitely a custom exhaust and it's an '06 Aero.

it just shocks me that the owners of such cars aren't on here--someone with the persistence to do a custom exhaust/tuning on a saab--it just seems like they would know about/be on the forum

Well, its been some time and no luck so far.. However, the other day I did see a black 9-3 Viggen with aftermarket rims heading on 93N and I saw a similar threat over on saablink how someone else saw the same car. Maybe we will have better luck with that find haha.. Haven't seen this '06 Aero in about a week though now. Too bad. At least I get to see a Turbo X every day .

OTOH, I got my *** handed to me by a GT3 the other day, pretty happy about it too. There would be no excuse for that thing to not dust me

You got my hopes up there for a second until I read the rest of your post.. haha. I want to set up a group meet somewhere in the Boston area if anyone's interested.. I know there was going to be one a while back but it fell through..
