Default resetting SRS light on 97 Saab 900

I was replacing somee fuses on my 97 Saab 900S. Now the SRS light is continuously on. How can I reset the SRS light? Thanks.

You'll probably have to take it back to the dealer (if you can find one) to have it reset. Most of the previous GM dealers that sold SAABs are still servicing them to honor the warranty.
The other option is to buy a reset tool. I tried this route and bought one on e-bay but it didn't work correctly. The documentation said that it would work for SAABs but they were not explained as well as other brands. There were specific connectors for the other models but none for SAAB.

As some mentioned, you will have to go to dealers to turn off the srs light. My local dealer charges one hour labor for this 5 minutes work. Fortunately you can find some car shops which owns a tech ii meter. and some are willing to reset srs light for maybe 20 bucks or even free.

in columbus, oh, there's THE SAAB SHOP LLC is one of the mentioned nice car shops.
