Default Hood release

Does anyone know how to run a new hood release line, mine is seized, and I have to use a pair of vice grips to get the release cable to budge. Not alot of fun.

yup vice grips too
Yes, I had to replace my hood release cable and used a universal type replacement cable, which I bought, from the local parts store (for cheap). After pulling the old cable out of the original casing, without removing it from the car, I flushed it with wd40 and then sent the new cable through. The only difference is that one end after cutting to length used a screw type clamp.
never had a problem again!
