I was just wondering if a blowoff valve and manual boost controller can be used with the so called low pressure turbo.

oh and does anyone know the stock boost of the lpt?

BOV: yes, if the car is Trionic (post -93, I mean)

MBC: no, because the ECU would see the overboost and then cut off the fuel. You should swap the ECU with a FPT one.

ah thanks for the quick reply. 2 questions...how much would a new ecu run? and what else would it affect besides overboost protectiob?
