In which direction would you like to see SAAB go?

Now that SAAB is free of GM (thank GOD!).... What would you like to see SAAB do as far as style and marketing? Should SAAB seek the premium market and compete with the Germans? Should it seek a more niche market and push for innovation and sort of a function over form design model? Whatayathink?

For example: I like the new 9-5 ok, but lets be honest.... its really just more of GM. The new 9-5 has nothing of the 9000's quirkiness or individuality. It really doesnt look all that much different than most of the jap sedans that are out there.

I would like to see SAAB return to its roots a little more. I would love to see a retro 900 type of model in their line-up. I would buy something like that. Take a look at this link that someone on GMinsidenews.com came up with:

I like this idea of modern retro. It seems to have worked for camaro/mustang/challenger/charger.

I just hope that SAAB doesnt try to compete with the Germans with AWD and premium price tags. I just dont see them running toe to toe with BMW or Audi. They need to try for the niche market: cars for people that dont want to be like everyone else.

So anyways, enough of my opinions for now....
