But now I need to take the cable apart and I can't work out how to do it, as it appears to be locked in. Anyone know how to do this? TIA Fraser |

Isn't there a little barb on the side of the plug that you need to push in??

No there isn't: the male connector had barbs on either side, which 'clicked' in place, but panic over, I have managed to prise both ends apart
Beads of sweat had started to form on my forehead when I couldn't separate the cables..... |
