My turbo seems to have gotten a mind of its own, Most of the time wen its working its pushing out 8 - 10 psi then the check engine light kicks on and i only push a max of 4 psi then after a period of time ranging from 30 mins to a few day the engine light will kick off and the trbo pushes 10 psi again any idea's what is going on with it?

Turbo is physically fine, some electric sensor, maybe an AMM problem.
Check engine means something related to engine management system, perhaps O2 sensor. |

Forgot to include the part were I popped my hood and the turbo was glowing red. I'm sure thats not a good thing. The left side of the turbo if you were facing the motor to read Saab on the APC I think. Anyways if it is one of these things how would I be able to test em to see if there working or not.

The turbo WILL glow red pretty easily. All it takes is some odd 30seconds or so on full boost to get the turbo that hot (especially with original downpipe). Very easy to see if it's dark outside (well, you have to get out of the car and open the bonnet, though
