When I painted mine I used Krylon high heat BBQ paint. It only comes in flat black, and it can handle lots of heat. I used high temp black rtv silicone when i resealed them to avoid moisture. 2 years they're still sweet.

I can see that making sense, since your car is black. But for any other color that wouldn't really be a concern. Mines Nocturne, and like you said black is black in this case. Lol. I actually left my high beam reflector silver, so I can fry someone if necessary. It looks kinda cool too.

BSR Stage III
Enkei EDR9s w/ Pirelli P-Zeros
Bilstein shocks
Eibach springs

THe bumper looks horrible, was in a time crunch and just cut the crap out of it. But Monday I get new exhaust tips and they're chopping off the BSR tips and welding on these 4 inch ones and then I'm putting on the maptun diffuser. Also have an OEM spoiler.

Spacers should be here by the end of the week.

@Brandnew70x7:

Super job! (have an '09 Snow Silver 2.0T, next to Turbo X, which is in the process of being modded).

1. What size/aspect are the wheels and tires?
2. You might consider the replacement 2012 lights (as now available from NeoBrothers UK). They fit perfectly with '08+ and have a blue tint to them [I just ordered a set]. Moreover they lose the orange 'blisters' (being eurolights). With a set of chromed turn signal lights (that still blink amber) you would have an extraordinarily clean front end look. If you're non-xenon they can be got for about $800 for the pair, shipped. If you're directional xenon's ...double the price [Gulp...].
3. Hirsch grill looks fantastic. Another piece of Hirsch kit that tranforms a non-Aero front are their splitters. Subtle mod -- but God is in the Details .
4. What was the thinking in a BSR Stage III (vs. other options...say Maptun)?
5. What size spacers?
6. Can't tell if you've got foglights or not...if not, on the wish list? [I think it adds... only money ].

Also: No tint?

Cheers!

The wheels are 18, 235/40 on the tires. The headlamps I'm not so sure about, I have other aesthetic issues to sort out and I'm out of the Army in a month so I have other financial obligations ;o. The Hirsch Grille is really nice, I'm not too fond of the clips that old it in though... I'm still waiting for Hirsch parts to take a price cut to a level they SHOULD be at.

BSR Stage III because I was in the middle east at the time and for some reason Maptun wouldn't work. I've got no complaints on it though, I absolutely love it and the downpipe/exhaust seem of great quality. Plus I LOVE the sound out of it. The idle isn't intrusive what-so-ever but it has a nice subtle roar in the low end that picks up at higher RPMs.

Spacers will be 15mm and 25mm. I have the 15mm at my house in Michigan and my 25mm should be there by friday. If they get there by Friday I'm having them sent out here to be put on.

Foglights were one of the original mods I was going to do till I found out how easy it is to mod the engine, so I've been working at that for awhile. The bumper was my biggest peeve but I'm about to solve that with the spoiler and diffuser. Super excited about that. But yes, that is going to be in the works. My old Mercury Cougar didn't have foglights and it's something I've always wanted. ;>

A bit surprised no one has said anything about my friend's supercharged SVT Cobra Terminator. That is probably the scariest car I have ever heard in my life. It sounds like a freaking race car.

Also: I would pay a crap ton of money to get rid of the cheap faux-wood interior and pick up one of the near trunks with the SAAB name across the lid instead of the griffen logo. I think that trunk looked great.

His is around 600 actually I think.

And there's a really stupid rule in mi you can't have the front windows tinted. I don't want to have just the right back it'll look ridiculous.
