Default Installing APC into 'B' series engine

I posted this in the 99 forum but thinking about it this is probably a better forum for advice.

Does anyone have any experience of installing an APC system into a non-APC car.

I have a 99T which is being rebuilt but will probably not have the original turbo refitted. Given the effectiveness of the APC system on my 9000 ( I know it's Trionic but the APC part of the system functions more or less the same ) I was wondering if it would be possible to install a system from an early, or indeed any, APC equipped 900.

I realise that I would need to fit a knock sensor into the block but are there any other considerations?

The engine will be developing somewhere between 200 & 220 bhp & I feel, perhaps wrongly, that an APC system would go along way to help preventing melting the tops out of the pistons.

well you'd need to have an ecu or carb mapped to the needs next the apc solenoid, the the apc itself, the vacuum canister etc. but i don't reallly see why not, it has been done on volvo's so why not on one of saab's own
