I'm sure Ford worldwide aren't out of the woods just yet but appear to be in a better situation in comparison to GM, so Volvo should be somewhat safer. I would argue that Volvo quietly would NOT want to see SAAB disappear........they may be direct competitors but in reality, good rivalry helps promote definition, measure, progress, initiative etc.......... Volvo Inc, should be looking over the shoulder just in case.
