Hi,
I have a 2003 Saab 93T that makes a TEMPORARY whistling noise every time I turn the engine on and ONLY AFTER the car has been parked for hours. That means every morning before going to work and once I get off of work, but any other time it's fine. The noise will stop just after a few seconds (15-20 sec) It sounds as if there's air being sucked through a tiny hole in the engine next to the power steering container. I'm thinking the Turbo has something to do with it. Any ideas of what it could be? I'll appreciate it greatly |

I just got this same noise in about the same place this morning and this afternoon leaving work.
I had a look for airleaks and looks ok, and with it only making the noise when starting up, I'm suspecting something to do with SAI valve, hopefully not the pump.. Heres a thread to check out - http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=116411 |
