Hi, My 5th and current SAAB is a '01 model 95 Wagon (estate for others) B205 and currently has a P1105 (5) code, warning light showing and drives like it's in "Limp Home Mode" but it isn't. I've tested most things. ie.
1. Turbo spins freely, wastegate actuator is connected and appears to be working correctly.
2. No broken intercooler or plumbing.
3. Charge Absolute Pressure Sensor has 5V to it and returning 2.1V at sea level.
Not sure what else to check.
AN interesting observation was that while getting it home the engine was earily quite. The only sound was the auto. This lead me to think that the turbo had seized or failed but this is not the case. If it had broken pipework or intercooler then you would hear all sorts of air wooshing sounds.
