Good luck, and remember there is an airbag in the passenger side.

Yeah i know... It comes with it
So now i have an xtra air bag that i could play with.... You know there is a tiny bit of jet fuel that causes the Air Bag to explode on impact... The 2004 Dash airbag is compatible with the 2003 Dash |

Along the carbon fiber theme a few people in the 9-3SS forum have been using this to good effect: http://neffywrap.com/

It's not jet fuel, silly. The propellants in airbags are powder-forms of sodium azide and potassium nitrate. Jet fuels are kerosene-based. I think you should leave the airbag right in your old dash and sell it to make up for your costs in switching to the black one.

I ripped the silver dash out of my tan interior because it looked completely out of place. Then I bought a standard wooden one on ebay and installed it. Looks much nicer (more classy) and it actually PUT about $75 in my pocket all said and done.
I've painted the dash in another car I've owned. I'd spend $1K on CF but only if it was for a bike frame or wheels. To each his own though. Everyone has their 'crazy hobby'. Good luck on that dashtop replacement. I do NOT envy you trying that. Swapping the regualr dash panel was a big enough PITA for me! |

Haha I like having an auto its very nice. My mustang was manual and rolling back and stuff was so bothersome. I wish I had paddley shiftys though

Pfft. The paddle shifters are a fun novelty but are no replacement for a stick and a clutch. My next Saab will surely be a manual. I settled for the Aero auto and I regret it.
