Hi,
I was looking at buying a boost gauge i have found a racetech turbo http://www.europaspares.com/acatalog...cetech_14.html (at the bottom) that seems to be pretty well marked up to check base boost and max boost. is this a good idea or are there better one?[/url] |

Seems fair, didn't see a price there, try www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk they carry them too. I ordered a different guage because I prefer psi (the numbers sound more impressive  ) but got it from Merlin, their advice was useful too. IIRC it was £30 plus tube or thereabouts. Now stuck on my dash full time even though I've set Base boost and tweeked the APC (on the 900).

Thanks Paco, Found a brand new PSI Gauge including pipes for £33 on ebay which was a little cheaper than Merlin - I used Merlin all the time when sorting my kit car - nice bunch of guys.
I'm hoping this will help find out what's happening to my turbo - a changed BPC, TRIONIC and pipes and the blooming thing still overboosts. Thanks for your reply |
