Default Saab 2004 9-3 Linear - amp search

Hi there! I'm new to the board and a new Saab owner!! I bought a 2004 9-3 Linear that has (at least the dealer told us) a bad/blown amp, and because of this the radio does not work. He said that they are about $300 from the dealership but I wanted to see if anyone knew of another place (or website) to look for one?
I'm sorry if this question has been posted before!! Thanks ahead of time for any help you can provide!!!

Welcome!

You might try a forum search (the blue word search above), not the "site search", which is even higher up on the page. I know this comes up now and then. There's a place in upstate NY, I think that can repair them. You can also hunt for a used one, or if the amp isn't a big priority you can buy some kind of bypass.

Thanks, I didn't see that search option! I will look around. I live in NC so Upstate NY won't work unfortunately (unless it can be sent to him to fix??).
Since the radio doesn't work at all I'll want to find a replacement and may just go to the dealer and fork over the cash, but I'll search around as well.

I think that is the case - IIRC, he does mail order. Hopefully, someone who knows for sure will be along soon!
