ECU Decode

Could someone point me in the direction on a part number breakdown so I can tell what Ecu is from what car?

Also I was looking at buying a APC valve And I found one on ebay from a 93 900 Would this work on my 95/94 9k? the part number is Saab part # 75 17 477

Also found a newer model Valve from 1999+ for a 9-5/ 9-3 could this also work Part # 5557331

The APC valve from the 1993 900 is not the same. the one you want is part number 74 85 576.
That is according to my parts manuals anyway.
7485576 is correct for :
94-98 900 models
85-98 9000 models
98-02 9-3 models

the EPC shows a different valve for the 9-5 models (part number 91 75 290)

I can find no reference to any 55 57 331

Best bet is to look on Ebay for the EPC (Electronic Parts Catologues). for the Saab 9000 models. The one I have also covers 900/93 and 95 models up to 2002

85-98 9000 models

that part is actually incorrect. that should be for DI/APC to '98 models (not sure if it starts with '88 or '89)
'85-'87 models use the same valve as C900's use, which is a 2 wire white valve, not the black one

Are you sure you have the Bosch part number right for that ECU? I can't find that one on the list

must be the wrong number I double checked. But thanks for that site It's what I needed. but Ive decided to sell my saab after looking at it more I could tell that it was very abused and neglected. I did not want my first experience with a saab be a bad one they seem like great cars I just ended up buying a basket case. I hope to find a new one soon

0 280 000 912 - this is a Bosch LH2.4.2 ECU, and IIRC, is from a 2.3 DI/APC car
