Default As if I did not have enough problems, how about another Saab?

This weekend I added another Saab to my collection. Just like the one I have, this is also a 88 900 turbo convertible. As you can see, the top has seen better days, but who can say anything bad about a plexiglass rear window replacement (original glass one is in the trunk)? Talk about weight savings! Performance!

Once again me and my trusty 740 turbo had to go grab another car. This time it was in Orlando. It was an interesting trip.

Things I learned: do not pull the Saab up the ramp while it is on its donut tire; that leads to crushing fog light time.

The scary thing is that I am actually looking forward to learning how to redo the top. What is wrong with me?

Looks like a sweet find!

Go Volvo power!

I got lucky and found a black top for mine at the JY - took me less than an hour to pull (got the bows and all). Should be a LOT easier to install too since I only have to staple around the back. Best part was, it only cost 100 bucks.

Do we get to know what she cost you?

Nice Volvo and nice SAAB, do you know any history of the SAAB? Is your Volvo an 88 Turbo?

Enjoy the project, you have your work cut out for you!

After owning 6 c900's I have grown tired of having to lift the hood and get dirty every time I want to drive a car.

My next car will be a Honda.

I lift the hood on my stock SPG twice a year to change the oil, one of those times for new plugs/cap/rotor. 180k still going strong. ???

A mere 180k?
That's barely broke in.
You won't find a c900 in California with less than 250k on it.
