I have a 99 9-5 that is having issues with the brakes clamping down while I am driving. It seems to increase friction the longer the distance I go, and to the point that it is hard to get going over 35 mph. When I first start the car after it has sat for hours without driving, the brakes work fine, and the brake pedal will compress like normal, but it seems like as the car warms up, the pedal becomes sensitive and stiff, and gets to the point that it will not compress at all. Any ideas here?

Welcome to the forum!
Sounds like the brake servo went south. Don't forget to try searching this forum, a lot of good info. |
