My 2003 manual 9-5 Aero estate (RHD) makes a harsh clunking noise from the front nearside. It only does it when the revs drop right down (below idle) when pulling away in first gear. Its a very loud clunking noise.
It also clunks if I put my foot to the floor when driving along and it will do it it in any gear. At first I thought it was a noisy nearside driveshaft but main dealer told me it wasnt and could be the engine or subframe mounts... Thanks guys, top forum |

I would check your link rods .. they are the weak "link" in the front end normally.
