Default 9-5 cup holder change

How do I get behind the dash to change my cup holder that my son broke?

I got the new cup holder and I see that there must be a screw on the top and bottom. But How the heck do I get the plastic wood grain panel off?

Thank you

You have to remove the sid and stereo units to get access to the cup holder screws.
The sid can be removed with a flat blade screwdriver (tape up the end so not to damage the dash), prise gently at the side of the sid. Working both sides til you can get your fingers on it and slide it out. Disconnect the wiring harness at the back. (some people believe you have to disconnect the negative battery lead before you begin this, but i never have. Just make sure your key is not in the ignition and your stereo is not turned on....having said that, if you are not going to disconnect your negative battery lead, do at your own risk)
The stereo unit requires the stereo removal tool.....or metal coat hanger cut and bent into a horseshoe shape. Slide them into the holes on the sides of the stereo unit and then wiggle the stereo unit out of the dash. You can also reach inside behind the stereo unit with the sid removed and push from behind. The stereo unit sits in a metal cage, so be sure to find a hole in the back of the cage to push the stereo unit out.

Let us know how it goes.

Thank you, I did see this a while back but forgot where it was. I tried searching for it but didn't come up with what I wanted so gave up and started a new thread.
Maybe there should be some sort of sticky of things of this nature so future people can view. IMO.

Thanks again for the link.
