9-5 ABS unit fault

Hello to all,

My name is Manos and I am from Greece. I own a Saab 9-5 aero '00 auto. At the SAAB workshop they confirmed my thoughts, there is a problem with the ABS unit. The check engine, the ABS, and the TCS faults are lit on the dashboard and the tachometer does not function at all. In order to replace it with a new one i must spend 3,200€ to buy it from SAAB. They said that there is not available any used one. Do you have any other suggestions?

Repair your controler with bba-reman.com - its much less than 3200$....

I have mine repaired by them last year and only costs USD150 excluding courier.

Check the FAQ manosm3, a lot of tips for saabers. I have mine done by Master Module USA.

If the module cannot be repaired you can still purchase a used one from them (BBA Reman too)

I contacted BBA but they didn't answer to all of my questions such as the 2 year warranty thing and the availability of a used unit.
Firstly, they told me that the cost is £100.00 plus carriage and vat and when I read the 2nd mail, they informed me that the cost is $139 plus shipping. I can't decide which one is the real one . Are they in UK or USA?
Is there anyone in EU that can repair such things?

BBA has an office in the UK and US, I would use whichever is cheaper including shipping if they are willing to ship it for you.

If you do send it to BBA-reman, you only have to send the module and not the pump, Its under the fuse box and behind the battery. It's held on by 6 torex screws that are relitively easy to access, about 10 minutes to get it out. Heres a link with pics.

ANd you can drive without the moduel you will get and ABS and TCS error tho

Just to add I had ATE Electronics in Tennessee rebuild mine, repaired it fast and it worked great. 60 bucks.

Do they have a website? $60 is alot cheaper than what I have found.
